The GayVNs are coming up in a week, and despite the fact that they’re the most nominated studio in 2010, Raging Stallion already seems to be thinking of 2012. Currently they’ve got two different productions that could vie for the title in 2011 (Tony DiMarco’s BRUTAL and Golden Gate, the NakedSword co-production). This week, they announced a huge two-part movie filming in Sonoma right now that will release next year, putting it in play for 2012 awards.
We weren’t able to make it up to Sonoma where Chris Ward and Steve Cruz are shooting in a vineyard with Francesco D’Macho, Damien Crosse, Kennedy Carter, Logan McCree, Remy Delaine (!), Tommy Defendi, Rusty Stevens, Aybars, Wilfried Knight, Race Cooper, Matthieu Paris, Landon Mycles and the rest, but there are a couple of grapes in that bunch that I wouldn’t mind juicing.
Ward doesn’t have a name for the new mega-feature, but he did post pictures of it on Raging Stallion blog and I thought we might help out with a few good-spirited suggestions. Personally, I’m hoping for Under the Tuscan Son, but I’m sure you all will have a few ideas. (Inspirational photo below.)
